Early Start Advising

For 9th and 10th grade students

Early Start Advising helps students plan for and be successful in high school and prepare for the eventual college admissions process. We help students identify and take advantage of opportunities and build on strengths and interests. Families can be confident they’re receiving in-depth guidance, and clear, timely information during critical high school years. Up to 3 meetings each academic year cover topics such as:

✓ Coursework guidance to be prepared for and competitive in college admissions

✓ Extracurricular and summer activities planning, including assistance with any applications

✓ Standardized testing strategies and resources, as needed

✓ Resources to explore interests and think about good-fit colleges

✓ Advising as questions and concerns arise, when needed
